Price-gouging not tolerated in wake or disasters

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) –Attorney Jack Conway is warning Kentucky businesses that price-gouging will notbe tolerated in the wake of last week's deadly tornadoes.
At Conway's request,Governor Steve Beshear signed a consumer protection executive order over theweekend, implementing Kentucky's price-gouging laws statewide.
Doing this allows Conway'soffice the power to investigate accusations of price-gouging.
