More than 150 fraudulent credit cards found during traffic stop
LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - More than 150 fraudulent credit cards were discovered in the car of a Louisville man during a traffic stop in Seymour, Indiana Thursday.
Around 2 p.m., Indiana State Police watched a man driving haphazardly on Interstate 65 and pulled him over near exit 49 to Seymour.
As Trooper James Wells talked with the man and his passenger, he developed probable cause of a crime being committed.
A search of the car turned up approximately 170 credit cards with stolen credit card numbers on them, according to ISP.
Rene Perez, 29 and Brian Diaz, 24, both of Louisville, were arrested and charged with one count of fraud.
They are being held in the Jackson County Jail.
The United States Secret Service continues to assist ISP in the investigation. More charges may be filed against the men.
