Early Aug. 25, Clarksville police were called to the 2800 block of Victory Court about a stabbing. Officers found a man with a stab wound on the left side of his chest. The victim said Warf was the person who stabbed him.
The victim told police he was awakened by hearing his girlfriend arguing with Warf as she tried to get him to leave the house. When he went to see what was happening, the victim said he and Warf got into a brief physical altercation during which the stabbing occurred.
Warf gained access to the home after calling a resident inside saying he wanted to return a cell phone that he had used earlier. When the door was answered, Warf forced his way inside.
After the stabbing Warf fled from the scene. He was arrested after officers found him in a nearby neighborhood. Police had to use a taser to subdue Warf.
The knife used in the stabbing was recovered outside the home. The victim said Warf had a sheath on him with a knife at the time. Also recovered was a backpack which contained items believed to have been taken in the burglary of cars in the area.
Warf is being held in the Clark County Jail and is awaiting his initial court appearance.
The victim was taken to University of Louisville Hospital for treatment.
