19-year-old charged with fatally shooting woman in Louisville’s Parkland neighborhood, police say

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB+WAVE) — A 19-year-old man was arrested Saturday after allegedly fatally shooting a woman in Louisville’s Parkland neighborhood.

Louisville Metro Police said officers responded to a reported shooting just after 5 a.m. in the 2600 block of Greenwood Ave.

Police found a woman who had been shot. She was taken to UofL Hospital where she later died.

In an update, LMPD said Tyrone Reed was arrested in connection to the shooting. Reed was charged with murder and wanton endangerment.
