LOUISIVLLE, KY (WAVE) – Another lawsuit was filed Monday against Heavenly Angels daycare following the van crash that killed one and injured over a dozen more.
The suit is seeking damages following the June crash. One of the daycare's vans crashed into a tree on Algonquin Parkway near Wingfield Avenue.
Tiffany Belk, an adult monitor, was killed. 14 children were sent to the hospital and the driver was seriously hurt.
Since the crash, the Heavenly Angels owner, Levonia Lewars, voluntarily closed all 3 daycare locations.
This is the second lawsuit filed. A similar suit was filed on Friday.
