LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB+WAVE) — Indiana voters will have more time to fix any problems if they have issues with their ID at the polls for the midterm election.

The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles is extending its hours leading up to and during the Nov. 3 election.

Branches will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2, and from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 3.

Anyone whose license expired after the last General Election, which was in November 2024, can still use the expired card as proof of ID for voting. Printed temporary IDs are also acceptable.
